Privacy policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data UXcellerate collects through uxcellerate.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

We follow Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023 and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we are

UXcellerate is a digital and IT consultancy based in Amman, Jordan. We decide how your personal data is used on this website, which makes us its controller.

For anything about your data, email info@uxcellerate.com.

What we collect

  • Project requests (contact form): your name, email, company, phone number, the services you're interested in, your budget range and your message.
  • Network applications (join form): your name, email, phone number, main expertise, years of experience, availability, languages, a LinkedIn or portfolio link and any note you add.
  • Product updates: your email address.
  • Booking a call: the details you enter on our Google Calendar booking page (name, email, company and topic) and the meeting itself on Google Meet.
  • Emails and calls: whatever you choose to share when you contact us.
  • Technical data: your IP address, browser and device information, used by our hosting provider to deliver the site and protect it from abuse and spam.
  • Analytics: how visitors use the site, but only if you allow analytics cookies. See the cookie policy.

We don't ask for sensitive data such as health, religion or financial account details. Please don't include it in messages.

Why we use it and on what basis

  • To reply to your request, prepare a proposal and work with you: needed to take steps you've asked for before a contract, and to perform it.
  • To review your application to join our expert network: steps you've asked for before a possible engagement.
  • To send product updates: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To keep the website secure and stop spam: our legitimate interest in protecting the site and our systems.
  • To understand and improve the website: your consent to analytics cookies.
  • To measure our advertising and show our ads to past visitors: your consent to marketing cookies.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting duties: legal obligation.

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data only on our instructions and under data protection terms:

  • HubSpot: our customer relationship management system, where form submissions are stored. Your data is hosted in HubSpot's European Union data center (Germany).
  • Google Workspace: company email, calendar, booking page and Google Meet.
  • Cloudflare: website hosting, security and spam protection (Turnstile).
  • Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity: website analytics, only if you allow analytics cookies.
  • Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn: advertising measurement and remarketing, only if you allow marketing cookies.
  • Specialists in our expert network: only the details needed for your project, and only once you've agreed to work with us. They're bound by confidentiality.
  • Authorities or advisers: when the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

International transfers

Some of our providers are based in, or may access data from, countries outside Jordan and the European Union, including the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards the law allows, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the providers' own data protection commitments.

How long we keep it

  • Requests and correspondence that don't lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Client records: for the length of our work together and as long as needed afterwards for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
  • Network applications: up to 24 months, or until you ask us to remove them.
  • Product updates: until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics and advertising data: up to 14 months, or as set by each platform's own retention rules.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy
  • correct data that is wrong or incomplete
  • delete your data
  • stop or limit how we use it, or object to it
  • send your data to you or to another organization in a common format
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before

How to use your rights

Email info@uxcellerate.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we'll reply within 30 days. It's free of charge.

If you're not happy with how we handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Security

We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), two-factor authentication on our business accounts, access limited to the people who need it, and reputable providers with strong security records. No system is perfectly secure, but we take it seriously and will act quickly if something goes wrong.

Children

Our services are for businesses. This website isn't aimed at people under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make that clear.
